Tracking time with toggl

dtn_001

I stopped using my s60 phone. I still love my E71, but the Nokia N97 was such a disappointment that it made me hate symbian forever. I’m now using the nokia N900, which is absolutely the best thing ever. It’s like a computer with a phone application.

Anyway, due to this change, I wasn’t able to keep track of working hours with my phone anymore. Punch2go was one of the apps I used the most, but now that I don’t have a symbian phone anymore, I needed a different soluton.

I decided to use Toggl, which is an anline time tracking service. It has a little desktop application so you can write the description of the task you are working on and start tracking it immediately. It works offline and then you can synchronize it with the online site once you get online.

I really like it so far. It hasn’t given me any trouble and it has some nice reports (and graphics…everybody loves charts and graphics). Overall I’m quite happy with it, although I’d love it if I could have a toggl app for my n900.

What do you use for time tracking?

  2. I found your blog when I was looking for some sort of interface between Toggl and RTM, i.e. get Toggl to load task from RTM automatically. This would be an extremely powerful GTD app. Anyone?
